Lana Grand’s Wedding Hair Tips for this summer wedding
“Following Spring/Summer trends we have seen on the catwalks, beach wave curls have been replaced by natural air-dried looking hair for lived-in movement, as well as glossy looking locks. For the up do or lose and free styles, try using bigger barrel curling irons, diffuser or twisting hair when still damp into rows of buns and letting them dry. Always remember to prep the hair with thermal protection and either a light mousse or thickening spray to give hair “memory” to hold the waves. Finish with serum to give the hair that luminous looking glow, just avoid any heavy oils not to beak down the movement you have just created.” Lana Grand

Romantic – designers like Alberta Ferrety, Giles, Temperley and Chanel incorporated soft feminine updos, that infused romantic, flirtatious and ethereal feels to their collections. Hair is kept loose, “undone” braids, twists, light volume and soft texture – ensuring things are not “too polished”, are all great ways of achieving those looks.

Takes inspiration from catwalks of Louis Vuitton, Issa, Burberry and Emanuel Ungaro, where hair was all about natural texture. The root area is kept flat and a very loose movement added to the mid-length of the hair, creating wearable, slightly lived in look, making this look a perfect option for beach wedding where hair can easily flow and move with the ocean breathe.

Formal – this look continues 2016 trend of soft, minimal styling, making facial features a focal point. Pinning hair into a loose, voluminous chignon keeps the style looking classy and classic, but keeping the volume down and the chignon low on the neckline gives the style a modern feel, as well as possible for someone with thick or very fine hair.
