Lace-lovers rejoice! We found an amazing bohemian meets rustic wedding that is just dying to be shared! The entire bridal party in white lace – that’s right! I know what you’re thinking, “But only the bride is supposed to wear white at a wedding!” See it for yourself, because when it comes to doing things a little unconventionally, this bride and groom shows us how fabulous it can be!
Using the gorgeous natural scenery at the Malibu Phoenix in California, the design of the wedding came together using lots of natural outdoor elements like garlands of greenery, succulents and wood pieces. The bride says, “We focused on embracing the natural beauty of the Latigo Canyon surroundings with a romantic, rustic touch.” Their reception décor utilized wooden farm tables decorated with soft candles, flowers, and bits of local fern. The bridal party kept their color scheme simple to allow the natural colors around them to shine. In fact, ALL of them wore white lace bohemian-style dresses. The bridesmaids in short dresses with 60s and 70s style elements, with the bride in a beautifully romantic floor-length lace gown from Dreamers and Lovers.
Embracing their non-traditional bohemian lifestyle, the couple utilized Beatles cover music for the ceremony, a Native American sage blessing, a Spanish Flamenco guitar echoing through the night at the reception, and even had the guests join hands in a circle to sing the final song of the evening.
