I adore this charming, intimate outdoor neutral eco friendly wedding in a conifer forest! There’s something so sweet about the mix of casual and traditional elements – like the bridesmaids in mismatched short, semi-casual dresses and the guys in slacks with suspenders and bowties. The bride looks so comfortable, relaxed and happy in her short simple dress, very natural makeup and hair.
The ceremony was held under an arch of branches from the forest and the ladies carried bouquets of boughs and pinecones and other bits collected from the forest too! It’s obvious that the theme of this wedding is not to get bogged down in the ceremonial décor and details but instead to celebrate the love of the couple amongst friends in an intimate, inviting ceremony.
The couple were overwhelmed with the idea of planning a huge ceremonial wedding, so they decided to plan an event that was one step beyond a simple elopement. It’s clear the eco-friendly couple enjoy the beauty of simplicity and natural elements – just check out their forearm tattoos! Their tablescape brings in a few extra decorative elements, like the gorgeous rich green glass goblets and the black slate table mats, tied together with eucalyptus branches as a runner. All in all, this casual outdoor eco friendly wedding ended up simply perfect. Let’s have a look at the lovely photos, captured by Dmitry Shentyapin
