Get ready to day dream – We’re so excited to share the fabulous wedding day of Natallia and Dmitry. This wedding is such a perfect example of why rain doesn’t ruin your wedding day, it will only make it that much more memorable. Natallia and Dmitry chose to have a woodland themed wedding. Natallia worn a handmade wedding dress by Olga Kucherenko that was made specifically for her based on every single last detail of her desires. The beautiful gown was made long, flowy, and white, with lace covering her shoulders. Gorgeous! Thanks to Nina Vartanava Photography for capturing this beautiful wedding.
Despite the rain on their wedding day,Natallia and Dmitry remained positive, shielded from the elements by a white umbrella. After all, many do believe that rain on a wedding day is a sign of good luck!
The wedding ceremony itself took place in the woods. It might have rained that day, but nothing could dampen this lovely couple’s spirits. The rustic theme brought a picturesque aesthetic to the celebration, especially by employing a white wooden door decorated with pretty florals for the wedding ceremony backdrop and placed along the door with pretty white lamps.
The décor was made even more thematic with the use of long playing records as the perfect decorations. During the ceremony, a mini record player stood atop a table decorated with florals by Fresh decor. We love how they used vinyl records decorated at the reception venue such as hung from the walls. What a great ideas!
The newlyweds were then given a sparkly send off by their friends and family. What a picture perfect occasion!
A handmade wedding dress for a woodland themed wedding
From the bride…That day must have been special.. In my dreams.. And it was!. Special groom, special guests, special music, special dress(sewn just like I wanted).. Actually, it was more than a dream! Can’t remember even a minute, when anything went wrong. Well, I was extremely nervous about everything probably a month before our wedding (can’t imagine a bride staying absolutely calm)-that’s true. But every “extreme” situation was like a part of a big scenario!. Even heavy rain, due to which we got acquainted one day, was like a sign from above.. It was “the happiest rain” in our life (even inspite of my wedding dress being completely dirty).
