Tatiana Afanasyeva photography does it again with another unique stylized bridal photo shoot. This time, she says she was inspired by crystals. “Crystals and gemstones are considered magical – that’s why they make a great symbol for an intimate wedding, to make it special.” Using amethyst crystals as a focal point for the wedding theme yielded some absolutely gorgeous colour and décor options, and Tatiana’s magic behind the lens gives us these gorgeous photos of a fairy-like bride on her wedding day.
Take a look at her use of tall candle holders with pink and purple candles to create some visual drama to the scene. Gold and silver plates and chalices set on soft wispy fabric on the table add to the imagery of a storybook fairytale.
And that crystal tiara! Stolen straight from a storybook! All of the bride’s accessories keep with the theme, and add drama to an otherwise subtle, but exquisite, blue lace Milamira gown. The contrast between soft and hard, and between dramatic and understated create an amazing visual for this wedding shoot.
