If you’re looking for unique ideas for a beach themed wedding, whether or not you’re actually taking your wedding to the shore. We’ve come across a gorgeous editorial shoot from Anna Pavlova Photographer that can provide some great ideas for you.
Using the unique location of a sand pit in the city of Dzerzhinsk, Russia, a white chiffon tent creates a romantic landscape for our bride to be seen daydreaming about her pending nuptials. Photographer Anna Pavlova says she designed this shoot to showcase the bride “warmed by the setting sun, timid and gentle. Like a beautiful Mirage, she is waiting for her only Prince.” The colour palette is driven by the natural ambiance – shades of sandy beige, ivory, sky blue and accents of emerald green from the nearby emerald pine trees.
The styling of the bride creates a weightlessness and elegance – a breezy layered-tulle in shades of beige replicates the surroundings perfectly. (Kudos to stylist Irina Lobashov and dress designer Ekaterina Nikitina) Natural makeup and loosely-tied hair complete her effortless look. Not to mention a lace sheer bodice to die for! And check out the tablescape – what unique decorative components to inspire a beach scene. Aquamarine-coloured stone pottery place settings with impressions of coral and shells, like nothing I’ve ever seen before. And if the romantic oasis isn’t enough to inspire your beach wedding. Then the stunning images of the bride by the water will be! Enjoy this wedding shoot from Anna Pavlova!

From Anna Pavlova Photographer…I would like to bring to your attention a gentle photography-inspiration on the image of the bride. This shooting we wanted to show how the girl transformed, turning into a bride, as she glows with happiness, what a delicate, fragile, shining it can be…
The beauty and youth of the bride, framed in shades of beige sand, warmed by the warmth of the setting sun, timid and gentle, like a beautiful Mirage, she is waiting for her only Prince.
The organizers of the shooting picked a lovely location – a sand pit in Dzerzhinsk. Here sand dunes side by side with high hills, covered with majestic emerald pines and in the heart of all this splendor bottomless gray-blue lake and the bat shakes its splendor.
The color palette of the shoot is dictated by the natural motives and choice of location: the predominance of beige and ivory shades with sky blue and emerald green accents. For shooting on the beach decorated the area with a tent where our bride could sit and dream about the upcoming wedding.
The image of the bride is simple and elegant – weightless dress made of several layers of tulle sand color with a lace bodice, carelessly tied-back hair and easy natural makeup and a stunning bouquet of pinkish-white flowers with bright pink-red inclusions. The image is perfect for our barefoot bride: delicate, light, smiling and really outgoing Natasha is not just posing, she is charged with positive emotions throughout the shoot.
We were going to start shooting about six o’clock, when the July sun just begins to set, and gives a warm fill light, but the weather had its own plans, the sky has tightened clouds, and the rain poured down with hail, and then suddenly it was over, the sun reappeared, and began the stuffiness. So, dripping wet, but full of enthusiasm we started shooting, the sun already by the time salelos, limiting our time.
We took some pictures at the tent, then walk along the dunes. Here was my favorite, sun-lit shots. The final point of the shooting was the lake in the water reflected the sunset sky, and pines gave her unusual emerald hue.
The last shots were filmed when the sun is almost the village. The day was hot and muggy, but we are very happy with the result.
